Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between 3D and 4D ultrasound?
A 3D ultrasound provides a still, three-dimensional image of your baby, while 4D adds real-time movement. During your session, we mainly use 4D so you can see your baby moving, smiling, or yawning. Images are captured in 3D, and most sessions are performed in 4D, except for early gender determination, which is done in 2D for better accuracy.
Best time for a 3D4D ultrasound?
We recommend having your 3D/4D ultrasound between 28–32 weeks, when there is a good balance of baby fat and amniotic fluid for the best images. For an anterior (front) placenta, the ideal window is 28–30 weeks, and for a posterior (back) placenta, 28–32 weeks. As pregnancy progresses, the baby gets bigger and there is less space and fluid, which can affect image quality. Baby position, placenta location, and maternal body type can also play a role. These are recommendations only—we are happy to scan at any stage based on your preference. During the session, we may try different angles or movements to help your baby face the ultrasound probe for better images, but a fully unobstructed face is not always guaranteed.
What is Baby Heartbeat Animal?
We recorded YOUR baby's heartbeats on a sound module during your ultrasound session and inserted it into a stuffed animal of your choice (8 "/ 15" available). This excellent gift can help siblings, grandparents and family members to create a greater bond with the arriving baby . It is also an exclusive gift for any occasion such as gender reveals, baby shower, etc.

How the location of my placenta affects the quality of 3d ultrasound images?
Image quality depends on factors like baby’s position, amniotic fluid, and maternal body type. We always do our best to capture the best possible images. How should I prepare for my ultrasound?
Please do not eat too much 1 hour prior to your ultrasound, eating too much may cause the baby to fall asleep in a position hidden away from the ultrasound probe making it hard or impossible to discover gender. Eat something you like, or baby likes, like sweet, sour or anything that you know baby will move.
